When is England vs Wales? Date and UK kick-off time for World Cup 2022 clash at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium

England will take on Wales in their final Group B game of the 2022 World Cup on Tuesday.

The Three Lions have all-but secured their place in the last-16 of the tournament despite their drab draw against USA on Friday.

Meanwhile, Wales must beat England to keep their hopes of progressing alive.

That should set a thrilling clash between the British rivals in Qatar.

England v Wales: Date and kick-off time

The Group B tie will be held on Tuesday, November 29.

Kick-off at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan is set for 7pm UK time which is 10pm in Qatar.

Iran will take on USA at the same time at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

James Maddison returned to England training on Saturday following rehabilitation on a knee injury.

The 26-year-old Leicester ace has been unable for England so far in the tournament but returned to the group over the weekend.

Kyle Walker could also be involved after missing the opening two games of the tournament through injury.

Harry Kane has been nursing a slight ankle issue.

For Wales, they will start with Danny Ward in goal after Wayne Hennessey was sent off during their late defeat against Iran.

Joe Allen returned from injury against Iran and could start against England.

• England drew 0-0 with USA in their last World Cup match, taking their tally of goalless draws at the World Cup to 12, more than any other nation in World Cup history.
• Wales (D2 L5) are on a run of seven games without a victory in all competitions for the first time since May 2003 – November 2003 (D2 L5), last enduring a longer winless streak in between March 2000 and September 2001 (12).
• England have lost their third and final group stage game in just two of their 14 participations at the FIFA World Cup (W7 D5), doing so against Spain in 1950 and Belgium in 2018.
• This is England’s first ever FIFA World Cup match against a fellow British side. The Three Lions are unbeaten in all three games against other British teams at the UEFA European Championship (W1 D1 vs Scotland, W1 vs Wales).
