- Germany 2009

UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 Pick
Women’s soccer in Europe continues to improve. At one time, the United States set the standard for women’s soccer across the world. However, in the last 10 years, the rest of the world has closed the gap on the yanks.
The Euro tournament will feature the best women’s national teams in Europe and possibly the next World Cup winner. England have one of the best women’s leagues in the world. Although the Lionesses are not the favorites to win the tournament, they are playing on home soil.
My betting pick is for England to win the tournament and finally lift a major trophy. Playing at home should help the Lionesses finally get over the hurdle of major tournament failures.
