Tyson Fury serenades WWE crowd with American Pie alongside Drew McIntyre just like he did after beating Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury stole the show at WWE Clash at the Castle on Saturday night and it was his singing the crowd loved.

The event took place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the first major stadium event in the UK for WWE in 30 years.

There were some well known faces in the crowd, including newly-crowned UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards.

The Gypsy King, who has dabbled with wrestling several times over recent years, also had a front row seat.

A big involvement was expected from Fury and he delivered for the main event.

He dropped Austin Theory with a right hand as he tried to cash in his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract.

That contract would have allowed him a shot at the title at any moment, had he been able to get it to an official.

In the end, Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre to retain his WWE Universal Championship.

Fury’s participation continued after the match as he stepped into the ring to join the champion Reigns.

The pair then shook hands to show their mutual respect to each other.

Fury then got on the microphone and serenaded the Cardiff crowd with a rendition of American Pie alongside Drew McIntyre.

Just like he did when he beat Deontay Wilder.

Speaking in a press conference after, the WBC heavyweight champion said: “All the events I’ve been to involving WWE, they’ve always been really well organised and thought out. Terrific events. 

“Tonight was insane again. Pretty much similar to the one I did at Wembley back in April. 

“What I want to say to Drew is, he came here and wore his heart on his sleeve. He put up a great fight and things like this have to happen.

“Although I’ve never had to lose in a fight in a ring, life is about ups and downs.

“One minute you are up, the next you are down. You just have to keep fighting and keep moving forward, dust yourself off and try again.”
