Tyson Fury dominates and stops Derek Chisora in painful, one-sided win, then confronts Oleksandr Usyk in showdown during post-fight interview ahead of possible next fight

Tyson Fury was utterly dominant against Derek Chisora and stopped him on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The WBC heavyweight world champion was far too good for his opponent, who he’d beaten twice previously, and, as soon as the bout was over, looked ahead to a fight against Oleksandr Usyk with the pair clashing during the post-fight interview.

Prior to the first bell, Chisora had a relatively understated ring walk before Fury made his entrance.

The Gypsy King lit up the Premier League ground as ‘Three Lions’ rang out around the stadium with 60,000 fans roaring ‘It’s coming home, it’s coming home’ ahead of England’s World Cup round of 16 match against Senegal on Sunday.

The fight began with Chisora jumping straight on the front foot winging big shots.

Fury nullified him by holding when he got close, and then fired back with a crunching combination of accurate shots which stopped his aggressive opponent in his tracks.

At the start of round two, Chisora found a home for a notable right hand, but Fury soon responded with punishing uppercuts and rights of his own.

The champion was dominant against his overmatched challenger and badly hurt him towards the end of the session.

Fury was on a completely different level as expected and stunned Chisora again at the start of the third.

It was a one-sided beatdown as the champion simply couldn’t miss and the challenger struggled to stay upright.

In round four, Fury slowed his tempo and allowed Chisora a less punishing round, while still landing enough to win it clearly.

Fury switch southpaw at the start of round five, then swiftly returned to the orthodox stance and nailed Chisora with a big straight right once more.

By this point it was feeling like an exhibition for the champion who toyed with the challenger and almost carrying him through the rounds instead of finishing him off.

As they hit the halfway point, Chisora hadn’t won a round.

In the seventh, there was a lot of mauling and wrestling between the pair in close with less clean work landed by either man.

Round eight was more dominance for Fury as a limp Chisora weathered the onslaught in a corner.

After the end of round nine, referee Victor Loughlin put pressure on Chisora’s trainer Don Charles to pull his man out, but they continued into round ten regardless.

As Fury continued his beating, Loughlin jumped in to end the contest, far later than he could’ve done.

Chisora thanked the official for calling a stop to the bout and, in the post-fight interview, Fury clashed with Oleksandr Usyk, shouting insults and call-outs while the Ukrainian just stared back at him.

“Where’s Usyk the rabbit”? Fury first said in the ring, in reference to the unified WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion.

“Usyk you’re next you little b****. You are next. Me and you next. You’re next. Rabbit! P****! 15st little midget bodybuilder. Well I ain’t a bodybuilder, I’m going to write you off.

“I already done one Ukrainian in [Wladimir] Klitschko didn’t I? And I’ll do you as well, gappy teeth.

“You ugly little man. Lets get it on b****. You may laugh now but I’ll end this little sucker. I’ll end you. You little sucker. What are you gonna do? You’re gonna do f*** all you little sausage.”

Usyk, though, then mocked Fury by taking a phone call after the tirade. Joe Joyce also joined the confrontation, though all eyes will be on Fury vs Usyk.

The Brit later revealed talks have begun on an undisputed title fight between them in Saudi Arabia next year.
