NFL Picks Week 15: Titans Versus Chargers Headline Action

With just a few weeks left in the regular season, teams are looking to make a final push for the playoffs. A full slate of games is scheduled with the Chargers hosting the Titans our featured game.

New England Patriots versus Las Vegas Raiders

The Patriots come into play with a record of 7-6, while the Raiders are 5-8. Las Vegas is a 1.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.8 to 2 and an over/under of 44.5. Dallas Cowboys versus Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville is 5-8 and second in the AFC South and “average” and +5 on the Power Ranks Indicator. Dallas is a 3.5-point road favorite with odds of 1.48 to 2.612 and an over/under of 47.5. The Score Predictor has Dallas by a 34-15 margin with 54 percent confidence. Be aware that the Jaguars are -4 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. The teams have been trending in games “over” the line, so I like Dallas in a game “over” the line.

Tennessee Titans versus Los Angeles Chargers

Both teams come into the game at 7-6 with playoff implications on the line. Tennessee is “ice cold down” having lost their last three and the Chargers are “average” after coming off a win. The Titans have a +17 to +12 edge on the Power Ranks Indicator. Los Angeles is a 2.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.67 to 2.18 and an over/under of 46.5. The teams have been involved in games “under” the line in seven of their last 12 combined. The Score Predictor has the Chargers by a 35-16 score with 65 percent confidence. New York Giants versus Washington Commanders

In this NFC East battle, both teams head into play in a near-must-win situation to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Commanders are “burning hot” versus “ice cold down” and both teams are +22 on the Power Ranks Indicator. Washington is a 4.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.410 to 2.868 and an over/under of 40.5. The Score Predictor has this as a tight 23-21 contest in favor of Washington with 55 percent confidence. Neither team has been very consistent with regard to their favorite/underdog status. I like Washington to win but the Giants to cover in a game “over” the line.
