The NFL season is down to the final four teams and the NFC and AFC championship games are upon us. With two weeks before the Super Bowl, who will prevail? We’ll take a look at the Bengals versus the Chiefs and the 49ers versus the Rams.
Cincinnati Bengals versus Kansas City Chiefs
The Bengals enter the AFC Championship Game coming off a hard-fought 19-16 win over the Titans. The Chiefs took down the Bills by the score of 42-36 in overtime. On January 2, the Bengals defeated the Chiefs at home by the score of 34-31. Both teams enter “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator and the Chiefs have a +30 to +23 edge on the Power Ranking Indicator. Kansas City is a 7.5-point favorite with odds of 1.3 to 3.46 and an over/under of 54.5. The Score Predictor has the Chiefs by a 30-22 score with 59 percent confidence. Note that the Chiefs have been involved in games “over” the line in each of their last six games. They are also more consistently performing with regards to their favorite/underdog status. Look for the Chiefs to pull away in the second half, covering the spread in a game “over” the line.
San Francisco 49ers versus Los Angeles Rams
The 49ers advanced with a 13-10 win over the Packers in Green Bay. The Rams blew a big lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before taking down the defending Super Bowl Champions, 30-27. Los Angeles is a 3.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.55 to 2.42 and an over/under of 46.5. Both teams enter the contest “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator and the Rams have a +29 to +25 edge on the Power Ranking Indicator. The Score Predictor has the Rams winning by the score of 30-22 with 49 percent confidence. If that holds, it would be a cover and “over” the line bet. Note that the 49ers have been trending in games “under” in five of their last six games. I like the Rams to advance to the Super Bowl and covering, but in a lower-scoring contest “under” the line.
