I had the pleasure of running into a WIP Dad during the Phans of Philly tailgate in Chicago this weekend. I had my eyes zeroed in on this guy days before because I spotted him in the hotel. You know what attracted my eyes to him? He wore his Seth Joyner jersey to breakfast over a collared shirt multiple times. It’s the outfit of WIP Dads everywhere. It was a mating call for the other WIP Dads and Uncles on the trip to tear apart Jonathan Gannon’s scheme and reminisce on the glory days of Buddy Ryan:

This guy was a good sport. We couldn’t agree on how shitty of an analyst Seth Joyner was, but we did meet in the middle on how bad roughing the passer has gotten. Israel and Palestine, take notes. But during that quick 30 seconds we checked off multiple characteristics of every WIP Dad.
He (Seth) tells it like it is. Higher Standard. 10% Better.
It was a bukkake of Seth bullshit and I know there are more of these creatures slithering around out there.
So here’s a fun game you and your cousins can play while you’re bored at Christmas. Sit down at the dinner table and lob a grenade to your WIP Dad and WIP Uncle(s). All you have to ask is, “What do you think about the Eagles this year?” and see if you can get Bingo. One uncle is going to talk about having three sacks against Ridley with a sprained shoulder in high school. One of them is going to shout, “Did you hear on Angelo…?” Just make sure you shout “BUDDY!” when you win:
