The Cup Series is coming off an entertaining duel between Joey Logano and Kyle Busch at WWTR in the Cup Series debut at that track. Logano won in the final moments in overtime on a re-start over Busch. As someone with a Busch future to win, that ending was like getting a tooth pulled.
Busch settled for 2nd while Logano edged ahead for the win in the first race at WWTR. He lost the race, but picked up valuable points to stay within reach of Chase Elliott. Busch is 2nd in the Cup Series standings behind Elliott by 9 points.
Sonoma Raceway is a 12 Turn road course that features unique, at least for NASCAR, elevation changes that go up to 160 feet. The track measures 2.52 miles, with a race record held by Kevin Harvick in 2018. He was timed at 1:16.854 in his Ford Fusion.

Let’s get into the Toyota Save Mart 350 odds and best Toyota Save Mart 350 predictions. If you are looking for the top NASCAR betting sites, we have you covered at TheSportsGeek.
Toyota Save Mart 350 Betting Odds
Sonoma Raceway always features the leading road course drivers at the top of the Toyota Mart 350 odds board. Chase Elliott is always a fan of going to the road courses and succeeding. There is no surprise that Elliott is the favorite to win at Sonoma on Sunday.
It’s a nice break from having Kyle Larson as the favorite every week. Larson isn’t that far away on the Toyota Mart 350 betting odds; he’s the second-favorite to win in Sonoma at +700. The only tracks where you won’t see Larson near the top of the odds are at the superspeedways.
The one name that isn’t familiar near the top of the odds is A.J. Allmendinger. I don’t want to say he’s a true road course ringer because he occasionally has a seat in oval races, but he’s best watched in road course races. Allmendinger rounds out the top-3 best odds to win the Toyota Mart 350.

Toyota Save Mart 350 Predictions
Martin Truex Jr. (+1000)
Truex Jr. has mastered Sonoma and will likely be involved at the checkered flag again this Sunday in California. Given his success and how his team always has a perfect car for Sonoma, +1000 isn’t where I would have Truex Jr. to win this race.
Truex Jr. finished P3, P1, P1 in his previous three attempts at Sonoma. He won back-to-back races from 2018 to 2019, and then nearly did it again for the hat trick in 2021.
The 41-year-old veteran has won at this track three times, the first time in 2013. He finished in the top-5 in four of his previous five races at Sonoma.
Four drivers have better odds of winning the Toyota Save Mart 350 than Truex. I don’t see it that way. His Toyota Save Mart 350 odds suggest a buy signal for this weekend.
Kyle Busch (+1000)
Kyle Busch just missed out after coming short at WWTR last week. If you had Busch, then I understand your pain. That’s what can happen in motorsports, though.
Despite the loss, Busch had another good finish last week. He’s is 2nd in the Cup Series standings with 498 points.
Busch has only the one win at Bristol on the dirt, but six top-5 performances overall.
This is another event where Busch can run a competitive race. He isn’t opposed to racing road courses. Busch is a well-balanced driver that can make it work on most tracks.
Busch’s Toyota Save Mart 350 betting odds are good value at +1000 or higher to win this road course.
Alex Bowman (+2200)
If you’re looking for more of a home run ball with a bigger payday, Alex Bowman is probably the best longshot to win at Sonoma. He is coming off a quality run in the last road race at COTA.
Bowman finished runner-up to Ross Chastain, ahead of Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, and Tyler Reddick. He has also had decent results recently at Sonoma.
The No. 48 has finished in the top-10 in two of five outings at Sonoma. He’s finished P9, P14, P9 since 2018 on this road course.
He’s eighth in the Cup Series standings, with a win at Las Vegas and three top-5 finishes. Bowman is worth considering at +2200 odds to win the Toyota Mart 350.
