James Harden Strongly Denies Reports He’s Frustrated in Brooklyn

James Harden was in the news on Tuesday, but not for the much-anticipated matchup between his Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers. It was because of a report suggesting there’s a legitimate chance that his time in a Brooklyn uniform is numbered because of mounting frustrations over various issues.

The report being discussed was from Jake Fischer from Bleacher Report citing sources about Harden’s frustrations from Kyrie Irving’s part-time status to Steve Nash’s coaching style at the end of games to even his living situation in New York.

When the Nets superstar was being interviewed, he simply replied, “I don’t know what you talking about… I don’t know about no reports,” Harden said.

Whatever Harden’s level of frustration, if any, with his current situation, it is essential to note that Fischer acknowledged Harden’s “investment” in winning a title this season despite the challenges in Brooklyn.

New York Post’s Brian Lewis reached out to Nets Head Coach Steve Nash about the concerns in the Bleacher Report article, and Nash not only stated he knew nothing about what was said in the story, but he maintains ongoing communications with Harden.

The Nets’ loss to the Lakers on Tuesday dropped the Nets to third in the standings in the Eastern Conference with a 29–18 record. They are currently on a two-game losing streak, but they have a chance to get back in the win column against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
