Jalen Rose Had a Pretty Good Joke About James Harden’s Shooting Struggles

Jalen Rose on NBA Countdown, leading into the Hornets vs. Hawks, had a pretty good chirp about James Harden and his recent shooting struggles:

Jalen definitely had this one cooked up and ready to go because he already told it to everyone pre-show. Stephen A’s forced laugh says it all:

Pretty good joke though, because it’s true. Harden’s shooting 40% from the field and 32% from behind the arc since he was traded to the Sixers. But compared to his numbers in Brooklyn this season, you’re getting the same Harden (41% FG and 33% 3FG). He’s attempting almost three fewer shots on the Sixers, but getting to the line about one more time per game than he did in Brooklyn. We traded for 2021-2022 James Harden with a bad hamstring hoping for at the very least 2020 James Harden, who could finish more efficiently and shoot better.

All I know is if the shots don’t fall in the first round there are a lot of Sixers fans should have 47.3 million things to worry about this summer. I still do the trade. The best ability is availability. But there are monster decisions coming up this summer if this team underachieves again.
