2022 NASCAR FireKeepers Casino 400 Super Six Picks

NASCAR is at a more traditional racetrack on Sunday for a 2-mile race at Michigan International Speedway. Last weekend, Tyler Reddick dominated the weekend on the pole and then a win on the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Chase Elliott did not have a solid performance last weekend, but it doesn’t matter in the Cup Series standings. He’s clear with 821 points over Ryan Blaney’s 696 points. Everything will reset in early September when the playoffs begin, though.

If you are looking for a free prop contest that can result in a nice payday, the FireKeepers Casino 400 Super Six is an option. Similar to the other Fox Bet Super Six contests, you have to beat the public and correctly select the questions.

We have our latest NASCAR FireKeepers Casino 400 Super Six picks. You are able to change your answers up to the green flag. Head below for our best FireKeepers Casino 400 Super Six picks for August 7, 2022. For a traditional sportsbook experience, check out our top NASCAR betting sites for the FireKeepers 400 at MIS.

1. Which of these Drivers will finish in the best position at the end of Stage 1?

(A) Chase Elliott
(B) Ryan Blaney
(C) Ross Chastain
(D) Kyle Larson
(E) Joey Logano
(F) Kyle Busch

This question pertains to which driver in this field will finish better at the end of Stage 1. It’s a competitive field between some quality drivers. I’m shortlisting Joey Logano and Kyle Larson.

I have a bet on Larson winning the race and was feeling confident in Logano before qualifying.

Logano had a solid qualifying session for P4 with a time of 37.993 seconds. He’s done well at MIS in the past, finishing in the top-10 in three of his previous five attempts, including a win in 2019.

Kyle Larson qualified P8 with a time of 38.175 seconds. He’s won at MIS three times in only 13 races. He finished P3 in back-to-back races going into this event.

Logano will be a popular pick after qualifying as the best in this field. This is a slight fade of the public and going with Larson.

2. How many Chevys will finish in the Top 10 at the end of Stage 1?

(A) 0-1
(B) 2
(C) 3
(D) 4
(E) 5
(F) 6+

Fox Bet likes to recycle this second question every week. How many Chevrolet drivers will finish in the top-10 going into Stage 2?

Tyler Reddick was the best performing Chevy in qualifying at P6. He is coming off a win on the road at Indianapolis Motor Speedway following a clinic of a performance.

Kyle Larson qualified P8 and Erik Jones P10. Noah Gragson, impressively, qualified a spot ahead of Chase Elliott at 12. Three will be the public play. I’m going to side with two Chevys in the top-10, though. If you want a bigger payout, you’ll have to go contrarian with some questions.

3. Which of these Drivers will finish in the worst position at the end of Stage 2?

(A) Bubba Wallace
(B) Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
(C) Ty Dillon
(D) Cole Custer
(E) Justin Haley
(F) Chris Buescher

Bubba Wallace is probably wondering why he’s included with this group of drivers. He has been running well recently and notched his first pole at MIS.

Wallace could get himself into trouble, but he’s unlikely to have the worst run through Stage 2.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been incredibly disappointing in 2022. I was expecting him to win a race or two, but his team isn’t living up to expectations.

Stenhouse Jr. might have a big race in him before the regular season comes to an end. However, it’s probably not MIS, and especially with the public not selecting him in question three, Stenhouse Jr. is worth considering.

He qualified P28 and probably isn’t in for a good run on Sunday. Stenhouse Jr. is 24th in the Cup Series standings with only one top-5 performance. Expect him to fall back again at MIS.

4. Which Coca-Cola Driver will finish in the Top 5 at the end of Stage 2?

(A) Denny Hamlin
(B) Daniel Suarez
(C) Joey Logano
(D) Austin Dillon
(E) More than one
(F) None

Joey Logano has a good car going into the race on Sunday. We can consider him as a Top 5 finisher at the end of Stage 2.

Logano should be there, but is there an argument to make for anyone else from this group? Denny Hamlin qualified P9 and has been running fine recently. Daniel Suarez was also solid in qualifying for P15.

That being said, I only have confidence in Logano at MIS on Sunday. I don’t know if there’s enough room for two Coca-Cola drivers in the top-5. Expect Logano and then someone to just be outside in P7 or P8.

5. At the end of the race which manufacturer will have more cars in the Top 5 and how many cars will they have?

Ford
Chevrolet

Neither Ford or Chevy were great in qualifying for the FireKeepers 400 at MIS. Joey Logano is the only Chevy in the top-5.

I will say that Ford was good, though. They have Logano at P4 and Austin Cindric is P5 on the grid. That said, I have confidence in Tyler Reddick and Kyle Larson as well.

Toyota has P1, P2, P3 on the grid to open the race. There are five Toyotas in the top-10 at the green flag on Sunday.

Expect Toyota to have promising results at MIS. Between Chevy and Ford, I’m going to go with a TIE for this question. Two Chevys and two Fords are what I’m looking at for the fifth question.

6. Which driver will have the better finish at the end of the race and by how many positions?

Ryan Blaney
Chase Briscoe

+10

This question was offered before qualifying on Saturday and it worked out perfectly for Fox Bet. Chase Briscoe qualified P23 and Ryan Blaney P24 on the grid.

Blaney is second in the Cup Series standings, with seven top-5 performances. Despite seven runs in the top-5, Blaney doesn’t have a win. He’s a lock for the Cup Series playoffs, though.

He hasn’t been at his best recently, though. Blaney finished P24, P26, P33, P18 after finishing P5 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on July 10. That being said, Blaney is always a threat to win at 2 miles.

He’s the defending winner at MIS and top-10 in three of his previous five races in Michigan. Blaney should find a way to get out of a recent rut and on track at MIS. I like him over Briscoe by more than ten spots.
