The NASCAR Cup Series is back to point racing on Memorial Day Weekend after a Sunday night of All-Star racing at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. The Cup Series is in Charlotte for the marathon Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We’re playing the Coca-Cola 600 odds for Sunday evening.

The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte is always an Indianapolis 500 Day race. It’s an evening race that starts at 6:00 p.m. EST. This enables drivers to pull off double duty at the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600. It isn’t the easiest to pull off, but it is a bucket list item for some drivers.
Ryan Blaney won the All-Star Race over Denny Hamlin. It had a bit of a controversial finish, but this didn’t count for points. Kurt Busch won the last point race at Kansas Speedway on May 15.
Chase Elliott continues to lead the Cup Series with 475 points over Blaney, going into Charlotte with 423 points. Elliott only has one win, but his consistency is paying off. He is one of the more highly regarded drivers on the Coca-Cola 600 odds board.
Kyle Larson is still trying to find the same magic from 2021, but he continues to run behind the grid. Larson was known for being well-balanced and consistent. However, he’s boom or bust in the Cup Series this year.
He is the defending Coca-Cola 600 winner and has the best Coca-Cola 600 odds to win the race. Let’s get into the previous Coca-Cola 600 winners and the best Coco-Cola 600 betting odds at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Coca-Cola 600 Results
Kyle Larson is the defending Coca-Cola 600 champ at Charlotte. He has won three of his most recent four races on this track and always likes coming here.
Larson had an accident two races back at Charlotte Motor Speedway, with a win in three straight events that he finished. This race helped lead Larson to a Cup Series title in 2021.
Martin Truex Jr. is the only repeat winner in the Coca-Cola 600 since 2016. He won in 2016 and then three years later in 2019. Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, and Larson won the other Coca-Cola 600’s since Truex Jr’s win in 2016.

NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Odds
As we said, the Coca-Cola 600 betting odds in 2022 are what you would expect if you follow NASCAR racing. Kyle Larson is the Coca-Cola 600 favorite at +650 to win.
The second favorite to win at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday night evening is Cup Series leader Chase Elliott. Elliott is +650 to win the Coca-Cola 600, ahead of Kyle Busch at +700 to win the 600-mile gauntlet.
As successful as Larson has been at Charlotte in the past, he isn’t getting the best value to win the 2022 Coca-Cola 600. At least in his current form this season, Larson isn’t the best bet at these odds.
Larson is ninth in the Cup Series standings with 376 points. He has been to Victory Lance once and six top-5 finishes. However, dropping out of races and not finishing has held him back from being nearing the top.

Despite the slow start, it’s a long season, and Larson will be a threat in the playoffs. I’d like to see more out of Larson, and his car is a little more reliable before I’m betting him as a favorite, though. Check out the Coca-Cola betting odds below and the top NASCAR betting sites.

Coca-Cola 600 Predictions
Ryan Blaney (+1100)
Fresh off a win in the Cup Series All-Star Race, Ryan Blaney is back on track and looking to earn points this weekend. Blaney is second in the Cup Series standings due to his consistent results this season.
Blaney hopes to turn his win last week into points at Charlotte Motor Speedway. For a driver that is consistent as Blaney this season, a 600-mile race shouldn’t bother him too much. The Coca-Cola 600 rewards drivers that can hang around long enough.
Blaney has run well at Charlotte in his last three starts. He’s finished P13, P3, P3 in his previous three attempts at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
In 2017, Blaney struck with a win in the Coca-Cola 600 on May 20, 2017. This season, Blaney has eight top-10 performances, which has put him 2nd behind Elliott in the Cup Series standings.
His consistency was rewarded last week, and Blaney should be in the mix in Charlotte as well. At +1100 to win the Coca-Cola 600, Blaney is worth considering to win on Sunday evening.
William Byron (+1100)
William Byron is another driver that has been close at Charlotte and has won before. He won on May 18, 2019 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was a great ride from Byron, as he finished with a Rating of 122.
His most recent attempt at Charlotte was a close call for Byron. After finishing P4, Byron was happy with the trip on May 30, 2021.
Byron has a win at Martinsville this season on April 9. It was his second score of the 2022 season, with a win at Atlanta on March 20 as well. He enters 4th in the Cup Series standings.
Charlotte is a similar 1.5-mile design as Atlanta, so this bodes well for Byron. He is carrying some good value into Sunday in the Coca-Cola 600.
Alex Bowman (+1400)
Our third good value bet on the Coca-Cola 600 betting odds is Alex Bowman. Bowman goes into the Coca-Cola 600 8th in the Cup Series standings. He has three top-5 finishes, including a win at Las Vegas on March 6.
Vegas is a 1.5-mile track, and he ran well in the others this season as well. Bowman finished in the top-10 for another good showing in a similar configuration at Atlanta.
Bowman won at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Coca-Cola 600 in 2018. Since then, Bowman has competed well at this track.
Bowman has been unable to win again, but he’s been competitive at Charlotte. In six of his previous eight attempts on this circuit, Bowman has finished in the top-10.
Bowman is looking good recently as well. He has finished in the top-10 in eight of his previous nine races and in nine of his last eleven outings.
There isn’t any reason why Bowman isn’t going to have a shot at the Coca-Cola 600 title in 2022. At +1400, Bowman has some of the better NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 odds.
