The NASCAR is making three turns this week, as the Cup Series arrived in Pennsylvania at Pocono Raceway. TheSportsGeek has the latest NASCAR at Pocono odds for this unique race.

This isn’t a true road course, but shares some elements of an oval and road course racing. Pocono has 22 different configurations, with the Cup Series racing on The Tricky Triangle.
This one could be neat in downtown Chicago, as NASCAR will have a street road course beginning next year in 2023. I much prefer a short track over a street race in Chicago, these cars aren’t exactly designed to race on the street, but the setting should make for an interesting race anyway.
Christopher Bell is coming off a win at New Hamshire in the Ambetter 301. Bell has been quietly consistent and finally broke through for a win. Chase Elliott continues to lead the Cup Series with 734 points over Ross Chastain’s 667 points.
Let’s look into the 2022 NASCAR at Pocono odds and handicap the winning driver in Pennsylvania for our Pocono predictions. If you need sportsbooks to go line shopping, TheSportsGeek has the top NASCAR betting sites online.
NASCAR at Pocono Betting Odds
Kyle Busch likes racing at Pocono and has had success on this track, so it’s no surprise that he is the NASCAR at Pocono odds favorite. Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Denny Hamlin aren’t far behind, with odds to win the M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 at +800. Last week’s winner is +1800 to win at Pocono.

NASCAR at Ponoco Prediction
Joey Logano (+1800)
Joey Logano at +1800? Yes, please. Logano is coming off a few tough starts, which is going to provide us with some value for Pocono. He finished P27 at Road America, P26 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and P24 most recently at New Hampshire.
Logano had a win on June 5 at Gateway Motorsports Park, so it wasn’t too far back that he went to Victory Lane. The 32-year-old had a top-10 performance two weeks later at Nashville Superspeedway.
He’s been fine overall this season, as Logano enters 7th in the Cup Series standings with 582 points. Logano will be going to the Cup Series playoffs, but will want to shake off the recent poor fortunes he’s experienced.
His car was in good shape in qualifying for P4 and P14 on the grid. Logano ultimately finished P10 and P7. In his previous eight attempts at Pocono, Logano has finished at least P15 in five events.
Logano hasn’t been to Victory Lane at this facility since 2012. That hasn’t prevented him from having good cars to win over the last ten years, though.
This is a pure value play based on the NASCAR at Pocono odds. I don’t know if I’d have nine drivers with better odds to win than Logano. He’s worth a serious look to win at +1800 or better.
Kyle Larson (+800)
Kyle Larson hasn’t been as dominant as his 2021 campaign, but have things really bad that bad? No. He just continues to be compared to that championship season.
Larson can win again this season. Everything can change when the playoffs begin. And he hasn’t been as bad as advertised this season, either.
He is 5th in the Cup Series standings with a win and eight top-5 performances. Larson won the Auto Club 400 following Daytona on February 27. He’s had some great cars since the win, but just missing out on more wins.
Larson is coming on at Pocono and just held out of Victory Lane. He’s finished P2, P9, P5 in his previous three races at The Tricky Triangle.
He’s winless since the second race of the 2022 season. That said, Larson has had a good enough car to win more than once. That’s been the case at Pocono in recent attempts as well.
After winning the Best Driver Award at the ESPYs, he should have another night of celebrating at Pocono Raceway.
