2022 NASCAR Ally 400 Super Six Picks

NASCAR is at Nashville Superspeedway for a 1.33-mile race on concrete this evening.

This unique track was added to the Cup Series schedule for the 2021 season. It’s the perfect spot for a stop on the Cup Series schedule.

TheSportsGeek is looking for a perfect day on our Ally 400 Super Six picks ticket. Six questions for a pool that currently sits at $1,000 with $500.00 guaranteed. This is the smallest prize I’ve seen so far, but we’ll see if the size of the prize goes up with entries.

In the first race at Nashville Superspeedway last year, Kyle Larson dominated the race. He qualified P5 and then proceeded to lead 264 laps and win the race. Larson can win again in 2022.

Larson qualified P3 behind Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano. Chase Elliott and Sonoma winner, Daniel Suarez, rounds out the top-5 on the grid. Head below for our best Ally 400 Nashville Super Six picks.

1. Which of these Drivers will finish in the BEST position at the end of Stage 1?

I’m going to circle Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano for the first question. Keep in mind that this is for Stage 1 only. Kyle Busch was likely a popular pick before qualifying, but he made contact with the wall and spun out.

Busch will take the green flag the back of the grid, so I’m shying away from him for a Stage 1 question. Logano has been running well and he qualified P2 going into Sunday evening. He’s the most recent driver to win on the oval.

Logano is fifth in the standings with two wins and five top-5 finishes. Logano had a solid effort last year in his first outing at Nashville Superspeedway. He was eighth by the end of Stage 1 and 10th at the checkered flag.

2. How many Fords will finish in the Top 10 at the end of Stage 1?

I’m high on Kyle Larson and William Byron in this race. Hendrick and Chevrolet should have a successful run at Nashville. Chevy swept the top-3 and had six cars in the top-10 last year.

Ryan Blaney qualified 6th and should be involved as well. Three of these drivers should be fast to at least open the Ally 400.

3. Which of these drivers will have the WORST position at the end of Stage 2?

Christopher Bell has quietly been running consistently well recently. The 27-year-old native of Norman, Oklahoma has four top-5 finishes, but is still looking for a win with 444 points.

It could be worse than 10th in the Cup Series for Bell. He has to stay positive and look at some recent successful trips to build on.

The P9 was a road race at Sonoma, so no worse than P6 on an oval since Dover on May 1. The public is heavily backing Bell to struggle on Sunday.

Less than 10% of users have Busch here for their NASCAR Ally 400 Super Six picks. I’m going to give Bell some support and fade Busch in Nashville.

4. Which Joe Gibbs Driver will finish in the Top 10 at the end of Stage 2?

The key to this Ally 400 Super Six question is how well Kyle Busch is going to move up in the field. Despite crashing in qualifying, I have some faith in moving towards the front.

Before qualifying, Busch was the second favorite to win at Nashville Superspeedway. Busch was the second-fastest in practice on Friday.

I’m inclined to believe that there will be more than one Gibbs car in the top-10 at the end of Stage 2. With Bell running well recently, Hamlin and Busch may also get into the fray.

5. Which of these Hendrick Motorsport Drivers will finish with the best position at the end of the Race?

Larson led 264 laps and was P1 at the end of Stage 2 and the winner at the checkered flag. He notched an impressive driver rating of 149.7.

His car looks good for Sunday after qualifying P3. I’m looking at Larson to win, so naturally, I have him for the fifth Ally 400 Super Six pick.

6. Which of these Drivers will finish in the best position at the end of the Race?

The final question of the day with question six for the Ally 400 Super Six is the same as the previous question, but with lower-tier drivers. The public will back Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and the percentages show it on the Fox Bet Super 6 app.

I’m surprised that Erik Jones isn’t getting much love for this question. Stenhouse Jr. is the more popular driver, but Jones has been slightly more consistent.

He’s two spots ahead of Stenhouse Jr. in 23rd on the grid. In a wide-open question to end the Super Six card at Nashville, I will side with Jones.
