The PGA Tour points to TPC Craig Ranch in Texas for the AT&T Byron Nelson. This is a tune-up tournament for the PGA Championship on May 19 at Southern Hills Championship Course.

Yes, Tiger Woods intends to play in the PGA Championship, if you are wondering. As does Phil Mickelson, who are both on the Final Field list. Neither will be a participant in the AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch, though.
In any event, there are some big names on the AT&T Byron Nelson odds board, though. Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, and Scottie Scheffler are expected to be in Texas for the AT&T Byron Nelson. Which golfers have the best AT&T Byron Nelson betting odds to win, though?

Max Homa wasn’t a betting favorite to win last week and got it done in the Wells Fargo Championship. Homa held off Keegan Bradley, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young to win the Wells Fargo at Avenel Farm.
I had a Fitzpatrick ticket and came close, but that wasn’t good enough for a winning bet. We’ll look to find a winner this weekend at Craig Ranch. Kyoung-hoon Lee won the Byron Nelson last year. Lee is a massive +10000 underdog to defend his title in this one.
Since his dominant win at Augusta National, Scheffler is back on the PGA grind after sitting out the solo tournaments.
He took a bit of time off to celebrate his Masters’ win, though he did play with a partner in the Zurich Classic, and is gearing back up for another major win in the PGA Championship.
This is a tournament for Scheffler that he’s using as prep work for the year’s second major. He will be well-liked to win the AT&T Byron Nelson, and it’s hard to blame any Scheffler supporters in Dallas.
AT&T Byron Nelson Betting Odds
Scheffler is the AT&T Byron Nelson odds favorite, but there isn’t a clear consensus on who the betting favorite should be to win this tournament. There isn’t a bad price on the board.
You can get Scheffler at +1000, which is the best AT&T Byron Nelson betting odds to win at Craig Ranch. According to the oddsmakers, Justin Thomas will be in contention, too.
Thomas is the second favorite with odds to win at +1200. Xander Schauffele is the only other player with less than +2000 odds to win the AT&T Byron Nelson at +1800.
Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, and Will Zalatoris are all +2000 golfers. The No. 2 ranked player on the Tour will not be playing in the AT&T Byron Nelson.

+2000 | Sam Burns | USA |

+2500 | Joaquin Niemann | Chile |

AT&T Byron Nelson Picks
Will Zalatoris (+2000)
If you’re looking for a sleeper that is going to go unnoticed going into Thursday, it has to be Will Zalatoris. Zalatoris isn’t going to be the most bet player in this tournament. That’s fine because there is value to be had with the 25-year-old.
Zalatoris made a splash in the Masters last year. In his first Masters, Zalatoris was the runner-up and just a stroke behind Matsuyama. It was a memorable performance for Zalatoris with a -9 at Augusta National.
Zalatoris had another impressive outing this year in the Masters. He finished T6 with Corey Conners at Augusta National and looked good in his most recent attempt as well.
Zalatoris had a good showing with his partner Davis Riley in the Zurich Classic. They finished T4, with Zalators playing another solid round.
Note that Zalatoris is the highest-ranked player in the FedEx standings without a win this season. He’s showing good form and might be ready to strike in Dallas in the
Jordan Spieth (+2000)
Spieth is the hometown kid from Dallas and has played this course well before. He was in good form last year, finishing T9 after a strong start at Craig Ranch.
Spieth was the co-leader in that tournament in 2021 and regressed when he needed to make a big push. Despite falling out of contention for the top prize, it was still a good tournament for him on a home course.
He has not been the most consistent golfer on the Tour recently, but off a win and heading to a place where he will feel comfortable, Spieth has to be considered at the right price.
Spieth getting +2000 on the AT&T Byron Nelson odds board is good for a bet before the PGA Championship.
2022 AT&T Byron Nelson Prediction
Scottie Scheffler (+1000)
My AT&T Byron Nelson betting rules for Scottie Scheffler were pretty simple going into this one. If he was +1000 or a better price to win the Byron Nelson, you have to consider him against this field.
Scheffler has won three of his previous five individual tournaments. He was T18 with teammate Ryan Palmer in the Zurich Classic, but has been on fire on his own.
Since February 10, Scheffler has won the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the big one at the Masters.
This isn’t the toughest field that Scheffler has to deal with in Dallas. Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, and Cameron Smith are not active this weekend.
In other words, Scheffler is the only top-5 player in the world playing in the Byron Nelson. It’s hard to say no to Scheffler when he’s +1000 to win at TPC Craig Ranch.
