Tommy Fury calls out Jake Paul after Ben Askren KO, but Conor McGregor’s sparring partner Dillon Danis also keen on lucrative fight

Tommy Fury and Dillon Danis are both keen on fighting Jake Paul next in a bid to end his perfect start to boxing.

The 24-year-old YouTube sensation moved to 3-0 in the professional ranks as he planted a huge right hand on the chin of the former Olympic wrestler in Atlanta on Saturday night.

Never one to shy away from controversy, Paul has aimed a torrent of trash talk at some of the biggest names in the world of combat sports.

Fury called out the American following his two-round demolition of Scott Williams earlier this year, with the pair posting derogatory videos aimed at one another on social media.

The 24-year-old from Ohio has also traded words with Danis, an MMA fighter who trains with Conor McGregor, even pelting him with water balloons when they met in California.

And now both fighters have offered direct challenges to Paul after his convincing display against Askren, with was waved off inside two minutes of the opening round.

And why wouldn’t they considering Paul’s claim that his fight saw 1.5m pay-per-view buys and generated $75m.

Fury wrote on Twitter on Sunday morning: “I’m ready to give the people what they want @jakepaul.”

Danis was a touch more crude with his message, writing: “It’s on 100% send me the contract let’s do this I’m going to put this c*** out cold.”

He added: “Let me save the MMA community.”

Despite never facing an actual boxer himself, Paul is quickly becoming one of the biggest draws in the sport.

Despite sceptics of Paul’s antics, he has no problem with social media stars stepping into the squared circle, as long as they present boxing in a positive manner outside of the ring.

He said to talkSPORT: “The only negative I see, potentially – and I don’t follow Jake Paul in terms of his YouTube antics – is what do they do away from the boxing ring?

“That’s not boxing’s fault, but as long as there is a divide that shows this is boxing; this is good for your health, this is good for your mentality, it builds self-esteem and it is a positive thing.

“Acting like a k*** head on YouTube is over here, they are two completely separate things. As long as that is over there, then listen, I don’t begrudge any man making money!

“Boxing, as a sport, is kind of set up so that anyone can get a boxing license. If you want to make some money, certainly in California, anyone can put on a boxing show.”
