The Homie Will Miss the Rest of the NBA Finals

Brutal:

This is a bummer. Dario is a good dude. He was always really friendly and easy going. Seemed to enjoy his time in Philadelphia when he came over.

He only played two minutes in Game 1 before suffering the injury. He’s been their backup center this year, kind of functions like a stretch five when he’s out there. Phoenix isn’t a big team beyond Deandre Ayton, and Monty Williams played Frank Kaminsky for four minutes last night while more or less going small through Cam Johnson, Cam Payne, and Torrey Craig.

Watching Dario was one of the silver linings for disgruntled Sixers fans who mustered enough energy to actually turn on the Finals. The only thing left to cheer for is…. I don’t know. Mikal Bridges? Chris Paul to finally get his ring? Former Sixer Jrue Holiday? Slim pickings now.
