Well, Phew!

The Capitals and Islanders salvaged what almost turned into a dreadful night. That was New York’s first overtime win of the season, and it comes against the front runner to win the division so that further pushes that Isles future into a better position. No win is coming easily at the moment, but the marginal losses are a little easier to stomach than 60 straight days of missing every puckline and 80% of games going to overtime ending in a loss.

Three teams get their ‘B’ bet headed into Wednesday’s card. The schedule is almost identical to Monday, only without the Blues and Sharks. While I have three full game totals running, nothing qualified for the first period. I have also placed a bet on the Oilers puckline once more. Marginally better goaltending and their far superior offensive opportunities should prove the difference.
