On Saturday night, the Atlanta Hawks will play host to the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Finals series.
Let’s take a closer look at the top Bucks vs. Hawks Game 6 player prop picks and make some predictions for this July 3, 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup.
The Atlanta Hawks will enter Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series on the brink of elimination, but they’ll have the home crowd behind them at State Farm Arena on Saturday night. After securing a critical Game 4 victory at home without their superstar guard Trae Young, Atlanta got off to a terrible start in Game 5, getting outscored 36-22 in the game’s opening quarter. Although they won the fourth quarter 34-32, it was too little too late in a 123-112 loss.
Bucks vs. Hawks Player Prop Bets (July 3, 2021)
The Hawks were led by a 28-point performance from Bogdan Bogdanovic, who shot 10-22 from the field, including 7-16 from beyond the arc. John Collins (19), Danilo Gallinari (19), and Lou Williams (17) also posted double-digit scoring totals. It remains to be seen whether Trae Young will return to the Hawks’ lineup in Game 6, but his team should be encouraged by the strong play of Bogdanovic, especially from beyond the arc.
The Bucks were without two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 5, however they got huge performances out of four of their five starters. Center Brook Lopez was a preposterous 14-18 from the field en route to a 33-point showing. Khris Middleton dropped 26 points to go with 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Jrue Holiday was a much more assertive player without Giannis, scoring 25 points, dishing out 13 assists, and pulling down 6 rebounds. Bobby Portis contributed 22 points of his own to round out a strong night for Milwaukee’s starters.
Will the Bucks punch their ticket to the NBA Finals or will the Hawks force a decisive Game 7?

Bogdan Bogdanovic to Score Over 16.5 Points (-136, FanDuel Sportsbook)
Atlanta superstar Trae Young’s absence from the lineup over the past two games has led to mixed results and a 1-1 record for his team. His teammates have stepped up in a big way to make up for his absence, but perhaps no other player has taken as big of a leap as Bogdan Bogdanovic.
After scoring eight or fewer points in six consecutive games, including the first three games of this series, Bogdanovic has become on of Atlanta’s most reliable scorers on the offensive end. In the Hawks’ 22-point win in Game 4, Bogdanovic dropped 20 points. In Atlanta’s Game 5 loss, Bogdanovic went 10-22 from the field, including 7-16 from beyond the arc.
Bogdanovic is clearly on a roll, having connected on 13 three-pointers on 30 attempts in his last two games, while averaging 19 field goal attempts per game over his last three contests. Regardless of whether the questionable status of Trae Young is upgraded or downgraded, Bogdanovic should be able to rack up at least 17 points in a do-or-die Game 6 at home.

Jrue Holiday to Score Over 23.5 Points (-120, FOX Bet)
Bucks guard Jrue Holiday has transformed into an exponentially more aggressive offensive player over the course of the last two games, which has been a much-needed development for a team missing two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. In doing so, Holiday has his team a mere victory away from punching their ticket to the NBA Finals.
After attempting just 12.5 field goal attempts per game across Game 2 and Game 3, Holiday has ramped up his field goal attempts to 18.5 per game across Game 4 and Game 5. In addition, Holiday’s three-point field goal attempts have increased to 7.5 per game over the last two games as opposed to 3.5 per game over the previous two contests. Holiday’s 11 combined free throw attempts in his last two games represent the most he’s had in a two-game stretch throughout this postseason run.
Holiday has dropped at least 19 points in six of his last eight games, including four of the five games in this series. Holiday has also posted at least 25 points twice in this series, doing so most recently in Game 5 when he scored 25 points. If Milwaukee is going to close out the Hawks on the road, they’ll need Holiday to have a big game.

Kevin Huerter to Record Over 17.5 Combined Points and Assists(-110, BetMGM)
Although we expect a big game out of Bogdan Bogdanovic, as well as the fact that Trae Young’s status remains up in the air, Kevin Huerter should still factor into Atlanta’s game plan in a meaningful way. Huerter’s series thus far has been up and down, though his performances at home in the Eastern Conference Finals have been far more impressive.
In Game 3 in Atlanta, Huerter scored 11 points on 4-11 shooting, including a series-best 3-7 from beyond the arc. In Game 4 in Atlanta, Huerter dropped a series-high 15 points, shooting 7-15 from the field while connecting on one of his seven attempts from downtown.
A key thing to keep in mind is that Huerter has attempted at least five shots from beyond the arc in four of the five games in this series thus far, including seven attempts in each of his last three contests. At the same time, he’s seen his assist totals jump over the past three games, dishing out seven assists in each of those contests, two of which came at home in Atlanta.
Huerter has gone over 17.5 combined points and assists in both prior contest at the State Farm Arena in this series, totaling 18 in Game 3 and 22 in Game 4. It stands to reason he could do it again in a must-win Game 6.
