Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 7
The first true test of the fantasy season is upon us as the BYE week hits for many teams with a Top 15 WR heading into Week 7. The Bills, Cowboys, Vikings, Steelers and Chargers are all on the sidelines this week, but that doesn’t mean you can just take the L lying down.
In order to stay afloat during these trying times you will need to be resourceful and use all of your bench and IR spots wisely. Do not just drop players who may have some trade value, this is a lost opportunity to get back assets ($FAAB?) in return.
Study your opponent and see where his weaknesses are as they are likely to be affected by the BYE week as well. If you have a chance to block them from picking a player who can help their team against you, then do whatever is necessary to keep them from improving their roster.
Darrel Williams – Chiefs RB
With CEH on IR, Williams has taken over as the workhorse back for the Chiefs, scoring 2 TD’s in a Week 6 win over the Washington Football Team. Williams is the undisputed goalline back in the Chief’s high octane offense which gets a plus matchup in Week 7 against the Titans.
Williams showed why he should remain the starter even when CEH is healthy, with his ability to break tackles and find the end zone. Pass catching back Jerick McKinnon looks to be a complimentary piece with no immediate threat to Williams’ production.
Darrel Williams Week 7 Projections: 23 rushing attempts, 75 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, 6 targets, 4 receptions, 37 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 7 Sit ’em
Tee Higgins – Bengals WR
Since coming back from a shoulder injury suffered in Week 2, Higgins has yet to find the end zone and has taken a backseat in the Bengals pecking order to precocious rookie Ja’marr Chase. Although the two wideouts tied for targets with 6, Chase seems to have the LSU connection dialed in with Burrow when it comes to big plays down the field.
In Week 7, the Bengals must face a Ravens D that shut down a Chargers offense that some predicted were Super Bowl bound, blanketing star wideouts Mike Williams and Keenan Allen in the process. I predict Higgins will run into similar problems on the road against Baltimore.
Tee Higgins Week 7 Projections: 5 targets, 3 receptions, 29 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
