The way Arsenal's season started makes the Gunners even more worried, until the point that Arteta's job seems already in trouble and Arsenal management is tipped to be in contact with Antonio Conte - who would be very weirdly interested in such a job. On the contrary Chelsea, already have the first trophy of the season in the bag, UEFA Supercup and then not suffering an inch when trashing 3-0 Crystal Palace.
The odds on Chelsea are too good for this kind of chance: because it's true that the Gunners are expected to bounce back, but how can they do so against a team so confident like Chelsea, where probably Romelu Lukaku will debut, being in a messy situation where it is rumoured that Arteta had sided Aubameyang and Lacazette cause they are friends and loyal to each other in their lack of trust towards the manager. The quest for the Blues seems to be to take the league this season, nothing better to send out a message by beating arch-rivals Arsenal...

Manchester City vs. Norwich

We watched something historic and we not even realized: because Guardiola, well: City, lost a third competitive game in a row against Tottenham, after losing the Champions League final and Community Shield. If that doesn't sound like such a tragic record, well consider that it is only the third time this happens in Guardiola's career, just incredible. Never happened at Barcelona, it happened in 2016 at Bayern, and in 2018 at Manchester City.
But consider that in 2016 two out of three were meaningless league games as Bayern were already champions, while in 2018 it was the knock-out semifinal legs against Liverpool and the derby of Manchester. So in one case, it didn't count, in the others were highest difficulty games. Which makes this then definitely the worst streak ever for Pep. Someone says that the squad still is disappointed for how Guardiola overthought tactics in the final, but all in all Norwich gonna pay for this...

Leeds vs. Everton

Looking at the game, Leeds played much better than what the 5-1 defeat at Manchester United says. It's not like United stole anything, they largely deserved all, but Leeds were much closer till the 60th minute, and actually got unbalanced by trying to recover the gap. Surely Bielsa will have pumped up the warm-up into the game, but Benitez had a brilliant 3-1 against Southampton, maybe even slightly unexpected.
Although possibly some of it could be down to the Saints' level... The odds on Leeds are incredible, possibly elevated exactly by Everton performance too, but it has to be considered that United too did a great game, so the 5-1 seems really just an accident on the way. Leeds always followed up their master and always have a reaction based not on mood and nerves, but on confidence and awareness given by the Bielsa's job. And possibly Everton could be softened up by that comfortable win...
