NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 1 (Fantasy Football)

For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have a solid range of outcomes at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our all new Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued relative to the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll like want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection.

Quarterback

Ryan Tannehill vs. Arizona Cardinals – $6,500

This shootout between the Cardinals and Titans features the second highest Vegas total on the entire slate, and my of our opponents are likely to stack the Cardinals side of the ball thanks to one Kyler Murray. While Kyler is a great play, Tannehill’s ceiling in this matchup should not be ignored. This game should feature an up tempo path to tons of play volume and the Titans’ 27.8 implied team total is the second highest on the slate. Tannehill and his elite WR duo of A.J. Brown and Julio Jones should run circles around this Cardinals secondary that got even worse last week when Malcolm Bulter retired. Look for Tannehill to come in less rostered than Pat Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts.
