NBA Wednesday four-team mega parlay (+2384 odds): Rolling with Lamelo

Lamelo Ball dribbling playing against the Mavericks

We’ve got a big NBA Wednesday slate this week with 10 games, so we might as well go for a big payday. That’s right, we’re back with another NBA mega parlay, this time a four-teamer with a payout north of 20/1. We’re going with one big money line underdog, and then three favorites on the spread.

We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NBA game.

Charlotte Hornets ML (+270)

Houston Rockets -6 (-110)

Chicago Bulls -3 (-110)

Phoenix Suns -2 (-110)

Parlay odds: +2384

Let’s break down each of the four legs one by one.

Charlotte Hornets ML (+270)

We’re starting this parlay off with a big underdog that ensures the large payout. Charlotte is riding a three-game winning streak, so I feel great about getting this high of a price here at home. Those three wins came against the Heat, Bucks (by 12), and Pacers, so it’s not like they’ve just been beating up on a bunch of scrubs. Lamelo Ball has given this team a huge jolt, and now that he’s in the starting lineup they’re going to have a lot of juice moving forward. The 76ers have been playing pretty well overall but they just recently got blown out by 15 by the Pistons, so they’re clearly susceptible to upsets against perceived inferior teams. The Hornets have scored at least 126 points in back to back games, and I think they keep it rolling here.

Houston Rockets -6 (-110)

Speaking of teams that are rolling right now, the Rockets are absolutely on fire. Houston has finally developed some real chemistry now that James Harden’s toxicity is out of the building, and they’ve won six games in a row. Four of those wins have been dominant, including the first game of this two-game set, when they destroyed the Thunder by 30. John Wall won’t play here due to rest, but I don’t think it’ll matter too much. With Victor Oladipo, Eric Gordon, Christian Wood, Boogie Cousins etc., there’s still plenty of scoring. Oklahoma City is fading fast, and since 10 of their 11 losses this season have come by at least eight points, I don’t think we have to worry too much about this spread.

Chicago Bulls -3 (-110)

The Knicks, not unlike the Thunder, got off to a surprisingly strong start but have since been fading fast. Their ‘we can’t score but we play with effort on defense’ strategy was never going to hold up too long. They’ve lost five of six, including the first game of this set. Their last two losses before that were both by 14 points, and their only recent win came against a Cavaliers team that also can’t score. The Bulls just got done with a really rough stretch where they played the Lakers, Celtics, and Blazers (only lost by one), and I think they’ll get back on track now that the gauntlet is over. They’re a high-flying offensive team, which is a bad matchup for the Knicks.

Phoenix Suns -2 (-110)

I think the Suns are going to win this one in a blowout to round out this parlay. They’ve won three games in a row, two on the road against the Mavericks and a 21-point bludgeoning of the Warriors. The Pelicans have been one of the biggest disappointments in the league, and only the Timberwolves have a worse record in the Western Conference. New Orleans is just 3-10 in their last 13 games, so I don’t see how you could back them here. When these teams played early in the season Phoenix won by 25, and that was before the Pelicans’ recent collapse. The Pels haven’t even been competitive in a lot of their recent games, with each of their last six losses coming by at least nine points.
