We’ve got a jam-packed NBA Tuesday slate this week, we might as well go for a big payday. That’s right, we’re back with another NBA mega parlay, this time a four-teamer with a payout of almost 20/1. A few favorites plus one money line underdog with a lot of value.
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NBA game first.
Denver Nuggets ML (-115)
Utah Jazz -9 (-110)
San Antonio Spurs -2.5 (-110)
Houston Rockets ML (+200)
Parlay odds: +1925
Let’s break down each of the four legs one by one.
Denver Nuggets ML (-115)
The Nuggets came out of the gates sloppy, but they’re starting to round into form and have won four of their last five games. Denver just blew out the Knicks by 25, while the Nets are really struggling at the moment and still won’t have Kyrie Irving for this one. Brooklyn played with Kevin Durant and not Irving on Sunday night, and it resulted in a 13-point beatdown at the hands of Oklahoma City. The Nets are 3-6 in their last nine games, and they just clearly aren’t as good as everybody wanted to believe they were at the beginning of the year. Fade the hype while it’s still there.
Utah Jazz -9 (-110)
The Cavaliers got off to a surprising hot start by winning their first three games, but they’ve gone just 2-6 since then. The offense has been a complete disaster, as they’ve failed to score 100 points in any of their last eight games. In the 2020 NBA, that’s pretty hard to pull off. Now going up against a stout Jazz defense, I don’t think their offensive woes are going to get any better. All six of their losses this season have come by at least nine points, so I don’t have any concerns with laying this many points with Utah here. The Jazz just beat the Bucks by 13, so I don’t think they’ll have much trouble beating the Cavs by double digits.
San Antonio Spurs -2.5 (-110)
The Thunder have been a nice story and all as they’ve beaten expectations to start at 5-4, but that won’t last. Each of their last two losses have come by at least 23 points, and they’re due for some serious regression soon. The Spurs are coming off a tough loss but right before that they were red hot, rattling off three straight wins. Those wins were extremely impressive, as two of them came against the Clippers and Lakers. The Thunder have managed to catch a few teams by surprise so far this season since they were expected to be one of the league’s worst units, but with a well-coached team like the Spurs that won’t happen here.
Houston Rockets ML (+200)
This Rockets team still has a ton of upside, so they’re the perfect side to back as a substantial money line underdog. Sure they lost to the Lakers in the first game of this doubleheader, but they just beat the Magic by 42 in their game before that. James Harden will be highly motivated to show out in this nationally televised game, and since he’s been uncharacteristically quiet the past few games I’m expecting a breakout here. This is a chance for playoff revenge from last season, and I don’t think they’re going to waste it. The Lakers have faced a very soft schedule recently, and they certainly haven’t looked unbeatable.
