Another three-game slate in the NBA Playoffs coming our way!
The Miami Heat host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7.30pm ET live on TNT and that game is featured in our same-game parlay!
We also have picks on the side and total for the Suns vs Lakers as well as Nuggets vs Blazers games, but for now let’s focus on the Bucks and Heat.
Under 226 Total Points (-110)
Khris Middleton Over 20.5 Points (+100)
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 13.5 Rebounds (-105)
Jimmy Butler Under 0.5 Made Threes (+168)
Parlay odds: +1760
Under 226 Total Points (-110)
Over the first two games, we have seen one under and one over. The total for this one is a smidge below what we got in game one which makes sense. Miami is the better defensive unit and the home team usually sets the tone. Milwaukee’s splits for the season don’t show much variance in terms of scoring at home or away. Miami’s are close too and they were actually an over team at home this season, 19-16 O/U for the season. Head coach Erik Spoelstra might still be pretty young but he is a bit of a throwback coach. With the urgency of the game, he should have the Heat playing the strong defense they are noted for. That and a little more attention to detail on offense should bring the scoring down like it did in game one. Look for lots of long possessions on both sides. Take the under.

Khris Middleton Over 20.5 Points (+100)
Middleton has been on fire through the first two games of the series – in the opener he had 27 points and he followed that up with 17 points in Game 2. It’s worth noting that he only played 24 mins in that game as the game was pretty much over by half-time, his total would have been higher if he played more. His shooting has also been off the charts – 51 percent from the field, 50 percent from three point land and 83 percent from the charity stripe. Over the last 10 games his point average stands at 21.4 per game. The Miami defense will focus on stopping Giannis, so Middleton can have another productive night in Game 3.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 13.5 Rebounds (-105)
The Greek Freak had 13 rebounds in Game 2 despite logging only 31 minutes. He was even more active on the boards in the opener when he grabbed 18 of them. What’s most impressive about those two numbers is the fact that he had six offensive rebounds in both games, giving his team second chance opportunities. With the series shifting to Miami, I expect the game to become even more physical which usually translates into more missed shots on both ends and more opportunities on the boards.
Jimmy Butler Under 0.5 Made Threes (+168)
Butler has had a nightmare shooting the ball so far in the series. Game 1 was a disaster, he finished with 17 points but shot just 4-for-22 from the field and 2-for-9 from three-point land. In Game 2 he didn’t even attempt a shot from distance, his confidence is definitely taken a hit after two such bad performances. A lot of those shots in Game 2 were forced up due to frustration caused by the Bucks defense clogging the paint for him. Shooting the three has never been a strength of his, he shot it just 24.5 percent during the regular season. I think Heat coach Spoelstra will come up with a new game plan for Butler and we will see him hang out in the paint much more than over the first two games.
