NBA Monday four-team mega parlay (+2900 odds): Banking on Doncic

Luke Doncic playing against Trail Blazers

We’ve got a nice NBA Monday slate this week, so we might as well go for a big payday. That’s right, we’re back with another NBA mega parlay, this time a four-teamer with a payout of almost 30/1. We’re going with straight money lines on this one.

We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NBA game.

Detroit Pistons ML (+200)

Portland Trail Blazers ML (+100)

Dallas Mavericks ML (+150)

Chicago Bulls ML (+100)

Parlay odds: +2900

Let’s break down each of the four legs one by one.

Detroit Pistons ML (+200)

I don’t think Detroit should be this big of an underdog, not after they just dominated the Heat and won by 20 points in the first game of this set. The Pistons’ record doesn’t look great, but they’ve played an absolutely brutal schedule. Their last five losses have come to the Bucks (three times), the Jazz, and the Celtics, so I really don’t think you can judge them too harshly on those. Miami is still going to be very shorthanded for this game, as Jimmy Butler and Avery Bradley both won’t play. Tyler Herro is also questionable, so I don’t think they should be this hefty of a favorite.

Portland Trail Blazers ML (+100)

The Trail Blazers being a home underdog to the Spurs seems a bit absurd considering they’re now scorching hot after a slow start. Portland had some rust early on, but they’ve now rallied to win five of their last six with the only loss coming to Indiana. Sure not having Jusuf Nurkic hurts, but it’s not like San Antonio has some dominant down low presence who can really punish them. Certainly not Lamarcus Aldridge at this stage of his career. Portland has arguably the best backcourt in the league, and since the Spurs have played a ridiculously soft schedule recently I think this will be a bit of a shock to their system. San Antonio’s last five games have been against the Rockets twice, the Thunder, and the Timberwolves twice.

Dallas Mavericks ML (+150)

I think getting the Mavericks as this big of an underdog presents a lot of value. People are just too reactionary to what they’ve seen most recently. Sure they’ve lost two games in a row, but one of those was by just three points on the road against the Bucks, and they had just won four straight before that. On the flip side, everybody seems ready to declare the Raptors back after two wins against the Hornets, both by only three points. Before those two squeakers against Charlotte, they were 2-8. Toronto’s four wins this season have now come against the Hornets, Kings, and Knicks, not exactly a murderer’s row.

Chicago Bulls ML (+100)

While it might look on paper like the Bulls have slipped recently, that’s not really the case. They’re 3-4 in their last seven games, but each of those four losses came by four points or fewer, so they’ve clearly been getting pretty unlucky. Two of those games were against the Lakers and Clippers, and you can’t hold playing the two Los Angeles teams within three points against them. Then in their most recent game they bounced back with a dominant 17-point win over the Mavericks, so I’m not at all concerned. Houston just doesn’t have much offense without James Harden, and with John Wall out due to injury, as evidenced by their 91-point effort in a loss to San Antonio their last time out.
