The weekend is here, why not celebrate by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another NBA mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout just shy of 20/1 where we’re counting on the Nuggets to win by a large margin. We’ve been rolling recently, with a bunch of recent parlay cashes, so why not follow it up with even more winners on Friday?
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NBA game.
Boston Celtics ML (+185)
Denver Nuggets -10.5 alternate spread (+280)
Portland Trail Blazers -3.5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1958
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Boston Celtics ML (+185)
This spread is far too large, and getting this number with the Celtics is a steal. Boston is one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, and they’ve won seven of their past eight. In their most recent game they beat a Suns team that has arguably been the best in the league the last couple months by 13. Even if Kevin Durant returns here he’ll be on a minutes restriction, and the Nets are still without James Harden. Brooklyn has been quite middling recently, going 3-4 in their last seven. One of those losses was by 25 points to a Lakers team missing LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and that was with Durant in the lineup. The odds in this game should be closer to even.
Denver Nuggets -10.5 alternate spread (+280)
I think there’s a good chance the Nuggets win this one in a blowout. Stephen Curry finally came down to earth and shot 7/25 from the field in the Warriors’ most recent game. They lost to the Wizards in the process. Now that he’s cooled, I’d expect their momentum to stall. This is Golden State’s first game back home after a road trip, so I think they’ll be tired. The Warriors also beat the Nuggets just a couple of weeks ago, so revenge will be fresh on their minds. Most importantly, Denver has the kind of offensive upside I’m looking for when backing a team on this kind of alternate line. In three of their past four games they’ve scored at least 123 points, so I’m not worried about their ability to win by double digits.
Portland Trail Blazers -3.5 (-110)
The Blazers are coming off back to back losses both by just a single point. Those came to the Clippers and Nuggets, two of the best teams in the West. One of them was without Damian Lillard, who is back now. With Lillard back in the lineup and coming off those two heartbreaking losses, I think Portland will come out on fire here. Memphis on the other hand just lost to the Clippers by 12, but it’s a whole lot worse than it sounds. Los Angeles was playing virtually nobody in that game, as Paul George and Kawhi Leonard as well as a slew of other key guys all didn’t suit up. That game showed the Grizzlies still have a long way to go, and I don’t see them winning on the road here.
