MLB Tuesday three-team mega parlay (+1324 odds): Nationals nuke Phillies

Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner (7) hits a single against the St. Louis Cardinals during the first inning at Nationals Park

The All-Star break is officially a distant memory, and we’ve got full MLB slates again. Why not celebrate by going for a big payday on Tuesday? That’s right; we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 13/1, and we’re counting on the Nationals to crush the Phillies.

We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form.

Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (+115)

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+165)

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+150)

Parlay odds: +1324

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (+115)

Nothing better than fading the Pirates and their anemic offense when it comes to run line betting. When the Brewers win they tend to win big, as their last five victories have come by a combined score of 39-12. Pittsburgh has scored the fewest runs of any team in the league this year, and they just traded away one of their only good offensive players by shipping out Adam Frazier.

The Pirates will turn to Tyler Anderson, who has been highly mediocre this season. Brewers starter Brett Anderson pitched against Pittsburgh once earlier this season, and he gave up no earned runs in seven innings. Milwaukee’s lineup ranks ninth in OPS over the past 30 days. Getting any plus-money here is a steal.

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+165)

The Nationals are on a bit of a skid, but they’ve just been losing a bunch of really close games. This is a team that just last week scored at least eight runs three times in a four-game span, so I’m not too concerned. The Nationals won’t exactly be sending their best to the mound in Erick Fedde, but the Phillies have a much worse option. Philly will start Matt Moore, who has somehow found himself back in a big league rotation after appearing in just two games over the previous two seasons.

Things have unsurprisingly not gone well, as Moore enters with a 5.79 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 42 innings. His last time out, he gave up six earned runs to the Braves. At least Fedde is coming off a really strong start, where he gave up only four hits and no earned runs in six innings. The Nationals have a lot of value here.

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+150)

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Cardinals. St. Louis is coming off a 10-6 win over the Reds, and should be able to keep that momentum going here. Cleveland is just 2-5 in their last seven games, and they’ve got one of the most unimpressive lineups in MLB. Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright has been really solid this year, building on his strong 2020.

He has a 3.56 ERA, and threw seven innings of one-run ball his last time out. St. Louis is 6-2 the last eight times he’s taken the mound. This Cardinals offense is also quietly starting to heat up, as they’re sixth in OPS over the last 15 days.
