Furious Tottenham fan ‘hates Daniel Levy more than Arsenal’ and says ‘Arsene Wenger has more history than Spurs’ in amazing rant after Chelsea defeat

Whoever’s job it was to calm down Matt the Tottenham fan after his call to the Sports Bar on Thursday night, we feel for you.

The Spurs supporter was absolutely furious after watching his side lose 1-0 to Chelsea with a pitiful display.

Jorginho’s penalty settled a match of few chances – but Jose Mourinho’s men never really competed as they slumped to a third-consecutive Premier League defeat, their second in a row at home.

Questions will linger over Mourinho, whose style of play continues to frustrate many Spurs fans, but Matt directed his fury at someone else – Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

In an incredible rant, Matt accused Levy of destroying his club – and even holds him in greater disdain than Tottenham’s arch rivals Arsenal!

“The problem lies with one man and that’s Daniel Levy,” Matt’s stunning rant began.

“How much longer are these pathetic Tottenham fans going to accept this from Daniel Levy?

“Walking around saying, ‘we’ve got the best stadium’… this man has destroyed my football club!

“I hate Daniel Levy more than I hate Arsenal – because, under this man, Arsene Wenger has got a better history than my football club.

“Every single football club has overtaken us.”

While Spurs briefly looked like title contenders earlier this season, their recent dip has left them in eighth, and replacing Mauricio Pochettino with Mourinho at the end of 2019 is still yet to prove wise.

According to Matt, no manager could fix the mess he believes Levy has created at Spurs – but that didn’t spare Mourinho and his players from the Tottenham supporter’s rage.

“It’s the equivalent to having a brand new Lamborghini and buying a 25-year-old Lamborghini that’s falling to bits,” Matt continued.

“Jose is inept, he’s a washed up has-been. He’s leaving out the most talented footballer at the football club – and Levy can’t get rid of him.

“Pep [Guardiola] can come, [Jurgen] Klopp can come, Poch, Wenger, Fergie – the lot in one dressing room. Nothing will change because Daniel Levy has sucked the life out of this football club.

“You’ve got Eric Dier playing centre-back, Poch didn’t even want him. Serge Aurier is pony and he walked out at half-time of the Liverpool game.

“But Jose’s got no other option. He looks at Ben Davies – useless, Davinson Sanchez – useless. How is Harry Winks still at this football club, yet Dele Alli can’t get a game?”
