The conclusion of IEM Global Challenge 2020 caused several changes in this weeks update.

BLAST Premier Global Final

2020 will feature not one but two BLAST Premier Global Finals. The first one has 2020 in its name because it reflects on the last competitive season. The second is scheduled for December 14^th and will also feature $1 million USD in prize money… though we don’t have any additional information about it.

BLAST Premier Spring and Fall

Just like last year, BLAST Premier will have two seasonal circuits – Spring and Fall. The prize pool is pretty hefty, and the production quality is at the highest possible level. The same can be said about the quality of the participating teams.

BLAST Premier Spring’s regular-season starts on February 4^th; Fall starts on August 26^th. The Finals are reserved for June 16^th and November 24^th. Don’t you just love it when third-party event organizers are as organized as the folks over at RFRSH Entertainment?

IEM XV World Championship

IEM XIV WC was the final LAN event in 2020. IEM XV World Championship will hopefully be the second post-pandemic LAN event in 2021! It’s scheduled to be hosted in Katowice, Poland, though that could change if EU’s COVID numbers don’t start falling.

The amount that was only present with CSGO Major Championships has become the new normal in competitive CSGO. With improved production quality and what seem to be the starting steps of franchising, the future of CSGO (and CSGO betting) seems pretty bright!

ESL Pro League

Just like you’d expect, ESL Pro League series are once again among the best CSGO events in 2021. Season thirteen and fourteen are on the table this time around – fingers crossed they will be set up as LAN events rather than online regional events no one really wanted.

Both seasons are set to be played in Malta; S13 will start on March 10^th, S14 on September 1^st. We’re set for some CSGO action at its purest, or at least that’s what the folks over at ESL are promising!

DreamHack Masters Summer

Even though the prize pool stands at just4 $250,000, that doesn’t make DH Masters Summer any less important.

At the moment, we have no concrete information on the DH Masters Winter event. Hopefully, we’ll know more in the next few months.

ESL One Cologne

ESL One Cologne is set to start on July 6^th in, you’ve guessed it, Cologne Germany. Hopefully, the social distancing measures will be a thing of the past and we’ll get to experience a proper LAN spectacle with live in-studio audience.

The qualifications will be done through the ESL Pro Tour which ensures we’ll see only the most consistent teams out there. Last year, ESL One Cologne was divided into four divisions with Heroic and EG taking the two main ones. Fingers crossed 2021^’s edition is a fully-fledged LAN event!

CSGO Major Championship Betting in 2021?

What’s that – 2021 CSGO Major Championship wasn’t listed above. Well, that’s only because still don’t have any concrete info on when and where (and if) it’s going to be hosted. That said, I do believe 2021 will feature at least one CSGO Major Championship. Going for two consecutive years without a single Valve-organized event would be suicide for competitive CSGO.

Any News on Flashpoint S3?

Unfortunately, there are no news on the third season of FACEIT and B Site’s joint venture called Flashpoint. The first two seasons were held in 2020 with MAD Lions and Virtus.pro taking the titles.

That said, I reckon Season 3 will be announced in the following months. But, I think they’re going to cut the prize pool and other production elements to cover their 2020 losses. Hey, something is still better than nothing!
