We’ve an AFC North battle on this week’s edition of Monday Night Football as the Baltimore Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens have had issues with Covid the past few weeks which has added to the other issues they’ve had this season. The reality is, the Ravens need a win here if they want to make the playoffs so the question is; can the Browns play spoiler while solidifying their own playoff hopes?
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

Two Teams Headed in Opposite Directions
A few weeks ago, Baltimore were close to a touchdown favorite against Tennessee. The Titans were favored by about that much against the Browns only to get crushed. It's funny how fast the market can move the NFL based on a few performances and this week's Monday Night matchup between bitter rivals Cleveland and Baltimore is the perfect example of that.
On the SBR odds page, the line for this game opened at Baltimore -2.5 and has pretty much stayed there although some of the best online sportsbooks are showing -3 available. The Browns offense looked fantastic against Tennessee while Baltimore should have most of their starters back after their issues with Covid. Remember, these teams played in Week 1 with Baltimore winning big by a 38-6 margin.
I think they win again here and cover the spread for no other reason but they have to. Another loss would virtually eliminate them from the playoffs, especially if it were to come at the hands of the Browns. If the playoff were to start today, the Ravens would be on the outside looking in which would be quite shocking fall from the heights the hit last season. I'm taking the Ravens at -3 (-120) which is available at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review).
Under Has Value in This Spot
The total for this game opened at 48 and has been bet down to 46 which is understandable. It's hard to imagine the Ravens scoring 38 points on the Browns again. Even in that game, the total combined score was only 44 and I think this game will be even lower scoring than that. First of all, Cleveland will want to protect Baker Mayfield not only from Baltimore's blitz but also from himself. They can do that behind what is probably the best run blocking offensive line in the league.
I think both teams' propensity to run the ball a ton plays to the under while we can never forget that these fan bases literally despise each other. I can't see both teams getting into the 20's based on the way they've looked (I saw what the Browns did to the Titans but Tennessee's defense has a ton of issues). I'm taking the under 46 (-115) at BetOnline in my parlay with Baltimore.
