Breshad Perriman, Jets (Rostered: ESPN 12.6% / Yahoo 8%)
@LAC, MIA, LV — Fantasy Playoffs: @SEA, @LAR, CLE
Week 10 BYE
Week 9 vs NE — 7 targets 5/101/1

I think it may be easier to talk about who I wouldn’t target among the possible options at the WR position. That would be Marquez Valdes-Scantling with Allen Lazard returning and Sammy Watkins because he’s Sammy Watkins.

Other than that, the rest of the options have a lot of opportunity. Cole Beasley and the Bills have a rough upcoming schedule after his bye this week, so he will be the lowest priority. Even so, if you’re in a deeper league, he isn’t the worst name available. He’s much more interesting if John Brown misses any time.

Michael Pittman and Jakobi Meyers are my favorite options to target for Week 11. Pittman exploded in Week 10 even with a healthy T.Y. Hilton on the field. He had a 100 yard plus game on eight targets and seven receptions and is poised for a breakout facing Green Bay, Tennessee, and Houston over the next three weeks.

Meyers has also solidified a starting role as a WR3/Flex spot on your squad. Not only was Meyers involved in the receiving game, but he also threw a touchdown pass to RB Rex Burkhead on Sunday. He has scored double-digit points in his last three weeks and Newton has been looking his way often. His playoff schedule isn’t great but he will face Houston and Arizona in the next two matchups to get you in a better position to get to the playoffs.

With backup Joe Flacco named as the starter for the Jets, Breshad Perriman is another name to consider for his high ceiling. He scored 24.6 points in PPR formats in Week 9 with Flacco in at QB. He’s not afraid to throw downfield and they will likely be playing from behind. Perriman is their deep-threat is worth a look in a tough matchup against the Chargers this week.

RBs

Probably Rostered (but worth checking)

JD McKissic, Washington (Rostered: ESPN 63% / Yahoo 69%)
CIN, @DAL, @PIT — Fantasy Playoffs: @SF, SEA, CAR
Week 10 @DET — 8/6/1 — 15 targets for 7/43/0

Nyheim Hines, Colts (Rostered: ESPN 41% / Yahoo 41%)
GB, TEN, @HOU — Fantasy Playoffs: @LV, HOU, @PIT
Week 10 @TEN — 12/70/1 — 6 targets for 5/45/1

Main Waiver Wire Pickups

Kalen Ballage, Chargers (Rostered: ESPN 30% / Yahoo 19%)
NYJ, @BUF, NE — Fantasy Playoffs: ATL, @LV, DEN
Week 10 @MIA — 18/68/0 — 6 targets for 5/34/0

Damien Harris, Patriots (Rostered: ESPN 43% / Yahoo 59%)
@HOU, ARI, @LAC — Fantasy Playoffs: @LAR, @MIA, BUF
Week 10 vs BAL — 22/121/0

Rex Burkhead, Patriots (Rostered: ESPN 23% / Yahoo 24%)
@HOU, ARI, @LAC — Fantasy Playoffs: @LAR, @MIA, BUF
Week 10 vs BAL — 6/31/0 – – 5 targets for 4/35/2

Wayne Gallman, Giants (Rostered: ESPN 31% / Yahoo 50%)
BYE, @CIN, @SEA — Fantasy Playoffs: ARI, CLE, @BAL
Week 10 vs PHI — 18/53/2 — 2 targets for 1/7/0

La’Mical Perine, Jets (Rostered: ESPN 16% / Yahoo 25%)
@LAC, MIA, LV — Fantasy Playoffs: @SEA, @LAR, CLE
Week 9 vs NE — 6/19/0 — 2/2/19

Salvon Ahmed, Dolphins (Rostered: ESPN 7% / Yahoo 6%)
@DEN, @NYJ, CIN — Fantasy Playoffs: KC, NE, @LV
Week 10 vs LAC — 21/85/1 — 1 target for 1/5/0

Matt Breida, Dolphins (Rostered: ESPN 30% / Yahoo 23%)
@DEN, @NYJ, CIN — Fantasy Playoffs: KC, NE, @LV
Has not played since Week 8

Malcolm Brown, Rams (Rostered: ESPN 40% / Yahoo 25%)
@TB, SF, @ARI — Fantasy Playoffs: NE, NYJ, @SEA
Week 10 vs SEA — 6/33/2 — 2 targets for 2/18/0

Cam Akers, Rams (Rostered: ESPN 29% / Yahoo 26%)
@TB, SF, @ARI — Fantasy Playoffs: NE, NYJ, @SEA
Week 10 vs SEA — 10/38/0

Alex Collins, Seahawks (Rostered: ESPN 0% / Yahoo 0%)
ARI, @PHI, NYG — Fantasy Playoffs: NYJ, @WSH, LAR
Week 10 @LAR — 11/43/1 — 2 targets for 1/4/0

While the WRs had a ton of potential, the RBs are not so nice. The only two names I would consider from the list are Damien Harris and Kalen Ballage. Harris has finally emerged as feature-type back with a whopping 22 rush attempts for over 100 yards. He didn’t find the end zone (thanks, Rex Burkhead) but he is getting the bulk of the rush attempts. His ceiling may be capped due to the nature of the Patriots’ offense with Newton, but he can give you consistent points as the main rusher in New England.

Ballage is a little trickier. He is a rental since Austin Ekeler is set to return sometime in the near the future. However, rookie RB Joshua Kelley has done himself no favors when it comes to gaining more opportunity in the offense. It is possible we see more of Ballage and less of Kelley once Ekeler returns, although that isn’t a guarantee. They have a favorable matchup against the Jets this week, so Ballage should be a point-producer at least one more week.

Salvon Ahmed, Malcolm Brown, and La’Mical Perine can be speculative adds. RB Jordan Howard was released by the Dolphins, increasing Ahmed’s opportunity in their offense. But, don’t forget that Matt Breida is still there and can explode with a big play at any minute. The same is true for Malcolm Brown who is also stuck in a committee backfield. While Brown has been getting the touchdowns, Darrell Henderson is healthy and could usurp his looks from one week to the next. Perine is a victim of circumstance and game script playing for the Jets. He would be an add only if I am in a very desperate situation.

Insurance:

Tony Pollard, Cowboys
Giovani Bernard, Bengals
Latavius Murray, Saints
Alexander Mattison, Vikings
Devontae Booker, Raiders
Boston Scott, Eagles
Brian Hill, Falcons
Jamaal Williams, Packers
Darrel Williams, Chiefs

TEs

Probably Rostered (but worth checking)

Dallas Goedert, Eagles (Rostered: ESPN 54% / Yahoo 77%)
@CLE, SEA, @GB — Fantasy Playoffs: NO, @ARI, @DAL
Week 10 @NYG — 6 targets for 4/33/0

Eric Ebron, Steelers (Rostered: ESPN 75% / Yahoo 80%)
@JAX, BAL, WSH — Fantasy Playoffs: @BUF, @CIN, IND
6 targets for 2/38/0

Mike Gesicki, Dolphins (Rostered: ESPN 55% / Yahoo 65%)
@DEN, @NYJ, CIN — Fantasy Playoffs: KC, NE, @LV
Week 10 vs LAC — 5 targets for 2/40/0

Main Waiver Wire Pickups

Jordan Reed, 49ers (Rostered: ESPN 15% / Yahoo 19%)
BYE, @LAR, BUF — Fantasy Playoffs: WSH, @DAL, @ARI
Week 10 @NO — 6 targets for 5/62/0

Logan Thomas, Washington (Rostered: ESPN 20% / Yahoo 35%)
CIN, @DAL, @PIT — Fantasy Playoffs: @SF, SEA, CAR
Week 10 vs DET — 6 targets for 4/66/0

To finish off stinky waiver options, let’s not forget about tight ends, although I am sure most of us wish we could. Jordan Reed is on a bye this week but his matchups are highly favorable when the 49ers returns. He saw six targets, five receptions, and 62 yards in a nice Week 10 matchup against the Saints. Unfortunately, he still has backup QB Nick Mullens as their starter so he is far from reliable.

If you need someone this week, Washington’s TE Logan Thomas may be your best bet. His next two matchups against the Bengals and the Cowboys should give him a decent floor, but his playoff schedule is tough. They will play Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Seattle in Weeks 13 – 15 who are all top-10 in fantasy defenses against tight ends.

Important Note: Keep QB/TE Taysom Hill in mind if you play in ESPN leagues. With his TE eligibility, he may be a sneaky add with QB Drew Brees set to miss time and backup QB Jameis Winston likely to take over. Hill should still be utilized as both a receiver, rusher, and quarterback and could be a cheat code in the TE slot.

Don’t forget to listen to Andy, Mike, and Jason’s breakdown of these players as their DST and QB streamers for Week 11 in the Waiver Wire episode.
