Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 8
The bye weeks are in full swing with several key players out this week from the Cardinals, Texans, Jaguars and Washington Football Team that would typically be in starting lineups. If you did not prepare for this last week, you are probably going into Week 8 as an underdog so now is not the time to get cute and play someone who you think will play well because you have a gut feeling.
Do your homework and really study the matchups including if the player you are considering is playing home or on the road? If it is an outdoor game, what is the weather like? Is it a morning or afternoon game and definitely check the injury reports every couple hours. The playoffs are just around the corner and you cannot be complacent! The team’s that end up winning it all or always looking ahead and are prepared for all outcomes and potential scenarios that may unfold.
Week 8 Start ’em
Teddy Bridgewater – Panthers QB
Teddy ‘Two Gloves’ has been a revelation in his first season as the Panthers’ starting QB through 7 games. This is an amazing accomplishment when you consider his long journey back from a devastating ACL injury which ended his career as the Vikings starting QB in 2016. In Week 7 against the Saints, Bridgewater went into halftime with 2 TD passes and zero INT’s but failed to score his 3rd TD in a game this season.
His floor is as high as it can get in Week 8 against a Falcons team that just suffered an embarrassing loss to the Lions after Todd Gurley accidentally ran the ball in for a touchdown instead of going down and running out the clock. I predict Teddy Two Gloves will put his fingerprints all over this game with 3 passing TD’s and his first 50+ yard rushing performance against the Dirty Birds.
Teddy Bridgewater Week 8 Projections: 347 passing yards, 3 passing TD’s, 59 yards rushing yards

Week 8 Sit ’em
CeeDee Lamb – Cowboys WR
The Cowboys may be the unluckiest team in the NFL this season and are now down to their third string QB after Andy Dalton got knocked out of the game by a dirty hit in Week 7 against the Washington Football Team. Dalton is now in the league’s concussion protocol which doesn’t bode well for his prospect of starting against the Eagles on Sunday night. Needless to say, if the Cowboys starting QB is indeed rookie Ben Dinucci it does not bode well for the skill players on offense.
Lamb is another rookie who has an instant impact player but struggled to get open last week which is a sign of things to come against an Eagles defense that is ranked 7th in the NFL against the pass. Fade all Dallas skill position players until they get a competent QB behind center.
CeeDee Lamb Week 8 Projections: 6 targets, 2 receptions, 45 yards, 0 TD’s
